ISWC2006 Papers
From ISWC2006, an international conference on Semantic Web technology, one of the artificial intelligence technologies for handling knowledge information.
Unlike the previous ISWC2005 conference,this is a collection of papers from the 5th International Semantic Web Conference. The major sections are Research Track, which is a research approach, Semantic web in use, which is an actual application, semantic web challenge, which is a slightly unorthodox application, doctoral consortium, which is a student paper, and Key note.
In the research track, we will cover ontology summarization, explanation of SPARQL, structuring P2P services, using ontologies to extract product features from web pages, ontology QueryAnswering in databases, pervasive computing, innovation extraction, ontology cost calculation, semantic web in use, semantic web challenge, and key note. ontology cost calculation, conditional probability fields in tree structures for semantic annotation, knowledge acquisition from information extraction, and methods for learning relationships between parts and the whole have been reported.
In the use of the Semantic Web, the following topics are reported: NEWS Introducing Semantic Web technology into news agencies, a semantically-enabled repository of large-scale scientific data, building and using role ontologies for task-based service navigation systems, a knowledge-sharing approach, a variety of explanations of conclusions from knowledge sources and applications in medicine such as electronic medical records are reported.
