DEUS EX MACHINA- creating mechanical god.

The title Duex Ex Machina is a reference to a phrase used in a drama called person of interest that aired in 2014. This is translated in Japanese as “god of mechanics” and is treated as synonymous with Genaral AI (GAI), an artificial intelligence with universal capabilities.

This term was originally used in ancient Greek theater to refer to a god who appears suspended from above the stage (by a mechanical device) to rescue the protagonist from a difficult situation. In other words, it has the meaning of a “dontenkai” or “super development” in Japanese.

Since the term “artificial intelligence” was defined in 1956, various technologies have been proposed and developed. In the TV drama in question, GAI was developed and put to practical use by a genius engineer, but in reality, the goal, let alone the realization, is not even in sight. The AI that the world is talking about today is not a universal intelligence, but a machine with limited intelligence that can only do a limited number of things.

In order to create a machine-based universal intelligence, it is necessary to combine the vast amount of knowledge accumulated by our predecessors from the past with even more creative hypotheses. However, the capacity of human memory in general is not that large (according to recent cognitive science, the capacity of the human brain is only about 1GB in terms of memory, and we are only under the illusion that we have more information than that (illusion of explanatory depth)). So, we have no choice but to adopt the strategy of utilizing the information we have successfully accumulated outside.

The purpose of this prog is to keep a comprehensive record of the technical backbone technologies (programming languages, ICT technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, DX, etc.) used to create this machine God = GAI. At the same time, I would like to share this information with many people through lifetips and chatting.
