ISWC2003論文集より

知識情報をハンドリングする人工知能技術の一つであるセマンティックウェブ技術の国際学会であるISWC2003より。

第二回の国際的セマンティックウェブ会議の論文集。第一回のISWC2002と比べて、内容が多岐にわたっている。内容としては基礎的な部分でOWLやRDFSをweb連携について述べられ、次にオントロジーを使った推論、そして前回でも多く述べられていたセマンティックウェブサービス、更にデータの統合を語るさ際に重要なデータの信頼性やセキュリティ、そしてウェブサービス統合の為のエージェントシステムや、情報検索、マルチメディアと続いている。

最後に各種ツールとそれらを利用したアプリケーションと実務への適用(インダストリアルトラック)へと続く。インダストリアルトラックでは、企業内のナレッジポータル、タスクコンピューティング、セマンティックアノテーションツール、自動車業界と化学業界への適用について述べられている。目次は以下の通り。
