ISWC2006論文集より

知識情報をハンドリングする人工知能技術の一つであるセマンティックウェブ技術の国際学会であるISWC2006より。

第五回の国際的セマンティックウェブ会議の論文集。前回のISWC2005と異なり、大項目は、研究的なアプローチであるResearch Track、実際の活用例であるSemantic web in use、少し異端の活用となるsemantic web challenge、学生の論文であるdoctoral consortiumとKey noteとなる。

リサーチトラックでは、オントロジー要約、SPARQLの解説、P2Pサービスの構造化、Webページから製品の特徴を抽出するためのオントロジーの使用、データベースでのオントロジーQueryAnswering、パーベイシブコンピューティング、イノベーション抽出、オントロジーコスト算出、セマンティックアノテーションのためのツリー構造の条件付き確率場、情報抽出からの知識獲得、部分と全体の関係を学習する方法等が報告されている。

セマンティックウェブの活用では、NEWS セマンティックウェブ技術をニュースエージェンシーに導入する、意味論的に可能な大規模科学データのリポジトリ、タスクベースのサービスナビゲーションシステムのためのロールオントロジーの構築と利用、、知識共有アプローチ、多様な知識源からの結論の説明や電子カルテ等の医療への適用が報告されている。目次は以下の通り。
